CHRIS VANCE, DPM (retired)
 
   
For over twenty years Dr. Chris Vance has been helping people stay active and pain free.  He is Board Certified foot and ankle surgeon; founder of Northwest Foot and Ankle Specialists, fellow American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, founder of National Academy of Practice in Podiatry and past president of the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association.  In June 2004, Dr. Vance retired from practice turning over the practice to Dr Gordon Nishimoto.  He is now following new pursuits and spending time with his new grandchildren and family.

Dr. Vance has been an outstanding innovator as a national leader in his field of specialization.  For several years he has so-sponsored and chaired "Shoes for the Homeless".  Dr. Vance has edited and written numerous articles for medical journals and textbooks.

Involved in many outdoor sports, Dr. Vance also enjoys being a member of the Washington Rose and Dahlia Societies.  In the summer you'll often find him at Aquasox or a Mariner game.  Church and family activities are always a priority for Dr. Vance.
